RTV1 is the public regional broadcaster for the municipalities of Stadskanaal, Veendam and Borger-Odoorn.
The broadcaster is supported by enthusiastic volunteers and journalists.
RTV1 creates and posts content that is interesting for all residents of the Veenkoloniale area and East Drenthe, reaching more than 110,000 residents via radio, television and online.GoalThe objective of RTV1 is to increase reporting in the Veenkoloniën and Hondsrug via radio, television and social media through Information, Culture and Education.
As a result, the population is better informed qualitatively and quantitatively about what is going on and what concerns them.
RTV1 wants to offer stages to institutions and associations to make their activities public.
